Vroom! Vroom!

Peyton and Connor both love to play with their hotwheels. When they play together, Connor wants every car Peyton has. He constantly destroys the race track while Peyton constantly resets it back up again and again.

Snuggling in Daddy's Chair!

Peyton and Connor love to snuggle together in Daddy's chair. They like to sit and watch cartoons while they eat a snack.

Happy Anniversary!!!

Our Anniversary was actually on June 12th. Unfortunately that day we were running around all over town and didn't get an opportunity to celebrate. We had 3 birthday parties to attend and then went to the river for some more family fun. My mom was able to come and babysit the boys this past Saturday (June 26th) so we could spend some "kid free" time together. We started our day with lunch and drinks at Chili's. We checked into the City Hotel and Bistro around 3:00. We had a great time talking, laughing, and just enjoying each others company.

Kessler, thanks for a wonderful 6 years. We have had so many priceless memories together. I look forward to making many more with you. I love you with all my heart.

Connor's First Haircut!

Well, I finally broke down and took Connor to get his first haircut. I met Casey at Sport Clips one afternoon. I had to make sure someone was there to be my photographer of course. Connor wasn't quite sure what to think when we sat in that chair. He wouldn't wear a cape or let mommy wear one either. Connor laid on my shoulder when the stylist first started cutting his hair. After a few minutes he was fine. The football, cookies, and sports game on TV all helped with distracting Connor while the stylist finished his haircut. When we were finished Connor looked like such a little boy. He is still so cute and the stylist kept a few curls for me in the back. Afterwards, Aunt Casey treated the boys to prizes from the gumball machines at Old Navy. Our first haircut was a success - Yeah!!!
Connor loving on mommy. He couldn't quite figure out what was going on.
"Hey! This haircut thing isn't so bad after all!"
The cookies mommy brought sure are yummy!
The sports game on TV helped occupy Connor's attention while the hairstylist finished up his haircut.

Blessings Can Come in the Smallest Packages!

I feel very blessed every day knowing God sent me these 2 precious little boys. Call me bias but I think Peyton and Connor are the cutest and sweetest things ever. I enjoy every day I get to spend with them. They are so funny together. You can tell they love each other so much. Connor wants to do everything Peyton does. Peyton is the best big brother anyone could ask for. He is going to be the best Daddy some day. I never have to worry about Connor when Peyton is around. He doesn't take his eyes off Connor. He looks out for him and makes sure he stays safe. I can't imagine my life without either of these 2 little boys. They bring such joy and laughter to our lives.

A Happy Father's Day at the River!

We spent this Father's Day at the river. We all went to the river Friday night and visited with each other. We had a good time joking and talking till 11:00pm or later. Sunday morning started off with a 5:11am phone call from Bobby asking if Kessler wanted to go fishing - of course he would never say no to a fishing opportunity. Me and Daddy went out on the porch to enjoy the sunrise and scenery. It was such a beautiful and peaceful morning. I left for the grocery store at 6:15 am to get stuff to make homemade pizzas. I hung out with Daddy when I got back while the boys were still sleeping. They finally woke up around 7:45am. They both had a late night. Connor went to bed at 9:15pm and usually goes to bed about 7:15pm. Peyton went to bed around 12:00am and usually goes to bed around 9:00pm. Once the boys were awake, it was time for our day to really begin. Peyton and Papa went for a ride in the truck. Papa doesn't have a back seat so Peyton got to ride in the front. He thought he was so grown. Soon Mindy, Casey and their crews came over. We had a great time living it up in the sand, sun, and just visiting and enjoying each other. Landon and Peyton spent hours playing in the water and sand together. After Connor's nap, he joined them and was having a blast. He just loves the water. Daddy was taking every opportunity he had to pour water from the balcony on to someone's head below. He will always be a kid at heart. We even got a suprise visit from Aunt Kim and Uncle Worley. All the Daddies got great gifts and most of all got time to spend some time with their boys and soon to be little girl. Happy Father's Day!!!

Daddy had fun enjoying Father's day with his 3 girls.

Peyton loves to fish.

After our day at the river, Peyton was pooped.
He wasn't too pooped though to enjoy a boys trip out to Baskin Robbins.
One of Kessler's Father's Day cards played a song when you opened it. Peyton and Connor sang and danced to that card for hours.

Brushing all 7 Teeth!

Connor has 7 teeth now. 4 on the top and 3 on the bottom. He loves to brush his teeth. He watches Peyton brush his teeth and tries to get the toothbrush out of Peyton's hand. When Peyton is finished, he usually gives him his toothbrush. How sanitary, I know. I finally went and got Connor his own toothbrush. He is using it here for the first time. He is so excited that he gets to brush his teeth just like his big brother now.
